Many people in a multi-site business are not at a desk: they are at the counter, at reception, in the warehouse or out in the field. Harmoniq works on their phone with nothing to install from an app store, and notifications go where each person chooses — in the app, by email, in the browser or by SMS. Everyone decides for themselves what they receive and how, so they hear in time about what concerns them without being buried in messages.
How it works
- Open Harmoniq in the phone’s browser and add it to the home screen: it then starts like an app, with its own icon. The same account works on phone, tablet and computer.
- Everything reaches the bell. Every notification appears in the app, at the bell icon, instantly, without reloading the page. On each device you can switch on a sound, and desktop notifications while the Harmoniq tab is in the background.
- Choose the other ways you get each kind of notification. In Notification settings, by group (Social, Learning, Performance, Approvals, Calendar, Documents, Health and safety, Audit and the rest), tick email, browser or SMS for each event.
- Choose the pace of emails: as it happens, or a single summary every morning.
- The result: an approved leave request, a new course, a photo campaign or a direct message reaches the right person the way they chose, and the notification opens the page it is about.
Example: a sales assistant in a bakery chain
A sales assistant in a bakery chain has no computer at work. She has Harmoniq on her phone’s home screen, with browser notifications for approvals and courses, and her emails come as a morning summary. Her leave request is approved at noon: the notification appears on her phone, and one tap takes her to the request. Her area manager, who drives a lot, chose SMS only for requests waiting for his approval.
Notification channels
- In the app: always, at the bell.
- In the browser: on phone or computer, even with Harmoniq closed, once you allow notifications. On by default.
- Email: as it happens or as a daily morning summary; on by default for the important notifications, such as approvals, assigned courses or announcements.
- SMS: through the company’s smslink.ro account, only for what each person ticks and only if their employee record has a valid mobile number. Off by default, because each message costs the company money.
- A few emails always arrive, whatever the settings: those about the company’s subscription and account, and those with a download that expires.
Who gets what
- Everyone gets notifications only about what they are allowed to see; nobody is told about their own action.
- For direct messages, one notification per conversation until you read it.
- The light or dark theme is chosen on each device, and the language (Romanian or English) for each person.
Limits
- Harmoniq needs an internet connection; it does not work offline.
- There is no separate app in the App Store or Google Play.
- SMS is sent only through the company’s own smslink.ro account, not one of Harmoniq’s.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to install anything on my phone?
No. Harmoniq opens in the browser and can be added to the home screen like an app.
Can I get just one email a day?
Yes: choose “Daily summary” and notifications come in a single morning email. Messages about the company’s account still arrive at once.
Who pays for SMS?
The company, through its smslink.ro account. That is why SMS is off by default and each person chooses it for what they want.
Can I turn off a notification I don’t care about?
Yes, for email, browser and SMS. In the app, at the bell, notifications always appear.
